Admission Requirement

GPA

Based on each school's internal requirements

Language proficiency test score
( e.g. TOEFL, JLPT, HSK )

A Requirement.
Students need to be sure they could attend either English or Chinese taught courses (or Japanese taught program which is in limited numbers).

VISA

All exchange students need to apply VISA.          
1. Visitor VISA (if exchange for one semester)
2. Residence VISA (if exchange over one semester)

Insurance

Yes (students are all required to buy accidental insurance in Taiwan. 10USD/ per semester).
Medical insurance, if deemed necessary, please purchase before arriving Taiwan and ensure it is applicable in Taiwan.

Required Documents

Note: Applicants must submit online application first and then email the required documents before deadline.
(Original documents are not required. )

Required documents (please check all the documents required)

1. An application form (Print your online application form after filling in)

2. An official home university transcript

3. One copy of a health certificate from a hospital dated within 3 months prior to the date of application.
(1) Exchange for one semester, please include proof of positive Rubella and Measles antibody titers or the above mentioned vaccination certificates, and examination result of Chest X-Ray (or a Tuberculosis blood test).
(2) Exchange for one year (two semesters), please include required items in the following link.

4. A photocopy of the first page of your passport

5. Three passport-size photographs (one is pasted on the application form) note: photo spec.
(1) made in recent 6 months
(2) no hat is worn
(3) white background
(4) color photo without modification or being specially processed. On the back of the photo, please write down your name

6. Study plan (please include your major, explain academic goals for studying abroad and why you choose exchange program in Providence University.)

7. Financial Statement (at least 2,000 USD, with stamp or signature from banks)
